David Valencia was born on an 18th of December in the city of Manizales, Colombia.

This Colombian composer and guitarist began his career independently in the year of 2008, when after remaining a few years abroad, he decides to return to his country with the firm intention of giving his country the best of his talent.

"Besos de Color" is his first single released in 2010. He intends to enter the musical industry by proposing interpretations rich in new elements and diverse combinations with Latin, Arab, and Anglo/European sounds, and by rescuing the naturalness and reality of the global music fusion.

In his musical career, David has participated in events such as "El Gran Concierto Nacional," where he had the opportunity of sharing the stage with artists such as Tinto and Gato Blanco, and was on the list of participating artists such as Fonseca, Andrés Cepeda, and Aterciopelados, among others.

In 2010, David participated in the opening event of the "Feria de Manizales" featuring Irene Claussen and Jerau (recognized Colombian artist). He also shared the stage in an event in the city of Cali with bands such as Kapsula, El Sitio (from Bogotá), Kukaramacara (from Cali), and La Iguana, among others.

Due to these important activities, David was chosen as the Artist of the Month of February by the Institute of Culture and Tourism in his city.

At this moment, "Besos de Color" is playing on local radio stations, and on a few radio stations in the US (New York and New Jersey).
