The simplicity of life, the simplest moments, but at the same time the most emotional, are the ones that move the vibes in Mariana Vega, who, with her guitar transforms those experiences into magical songs that are part of her debut album in Mexico, titled Mariana Vega.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, the singer-songwriter looks to charm the world and infect it with the same feelings that make her a sensible and happy woman, but at the same time an adventurous and daring girl.   

Mexico is nowadays her base of operations and from there, she wants her voice to be heard throughout all of the Americas; just as she did with her first single titled Contigo (With You), which was successfully accepted by national radio.

Now, Mariana presents her new song No Me Queda Nada (Without Anything Left). The exhilarating video clip of this single was taped just couple of weeks ago in Miami, Florida, with director Pablo Croce at The Ice Palace Studios, where the cameras brought to life the story of the song.

With No Me Queda Nada, Mariana Vega shows us that the simplest moments are the ones that make life worthwhile. She shares a story that turned her life 180o around; a song she performed at a friend’s wedding and made her realize the dream of recording her first album.

Since the age of 16, Mariana Vega knew very clearly the path she would follow in life, and now she is starting to take her first steps of what will be a long musical journey.

With long academic studies under her belt and an extremely exciting life in Canada, the songwriter achieved recognition in local bars in the city of Toronto, where she was able to break through the language barriers and clearly prove that music is a universal language. 

With this production, Mariana Vega wants to share with everyone the moments that have given color and shape to her life and the experiences that make life a unique gift.

While living in Canada, she developed the habit of walking barefoot in her house and now she brings this craze with her to the stage. Mariana admits that being able to touch the ground with her bare feet liberates her and allows her to feel in her own skin the vibe and the energy from the crowd.

However, there is another side to Mariana, the adventurous one. With her brother by her side, she backpacked throughout Europe and experienced things that some don’t even dare to try. She remembers her paragliding flight and how this event is a reflection of her personality. She describes it as, “To be in the middle of nothing, and in the center of everything at the same time.”

Her new album Mariana Vega is the second of her career and the first one to be produced in Mexico, with which she plans on reaching international recognition. Her first album Háblame (Talk to Me) was produced in 2008 in her native country of

Venezuela and it includes the songs Hablame (Talk to Me), Te Di (What I Gave You), No Me Queda Nada (Without Anything Left), Ni Tu Ni Nadie (Neither You, Nor Anyone), which were included in the soundtrack of popular local soap operas. With this album Mariana achieved the recognition as Artist of the Year by the Agency of Market Analysis Record Report of Venezuela, which monitors and reports the activity of the music industry in the country.
