Paty Cantú's Favorite SUBWAY® Sandwiches

Paty Cantú, brain child of duo LU, singer and composer, released 2 albums with the band that reached Gold and Platinum status in Mexico and consolidated them in Latin America as one of the most important Mexican duos. Several radio hits were released such as, "Por Besarte", "Duele", "Una Confusión" and "La Vida Después De Ti". LU broke sales records on digital downloads in Brazil with the song "Por Besarte" which was used as the main song for the soap opera "RBD".

After ending LU's cycle, Paty Cantú started her solo career with her debut album Me Quedo Sola (Left Alone) recorded in Italy and produced by Luis Fernando Ochoa (Shakira) and Loris Ceroni (Alejandra Guzmán). The album debuted at #1 in Mexican charts and remained in the Top 10 chart for 10 consecutive weeks. Some songs of this album were selected by Pantech to launch an exclusive preloaded cell phone, backed by a massive advertising campaign in Mexico.

The singles,"Déjame ir", "Me Quedo Sola" and "No Fue Suficiente", reached the Top5 on Mexican radio and video charts. Additionally, she was chosen by Walt Disney to sing the lead Spanish theme song for the TinkerBell movie "Si Crees En Ti", also included in the original soundtrack of the movie. That same year Paty performed for the first time as a solo singer at the famous Metropolitan Theatre in Mexico City with a sold-out show. She also started her acting career in one of highest-rated Mexican TV series "El Pantera" with lead actor Luis Roberto Guzman (Ladie's Night).

In 2010, Paty Cantú released her sophomore album Afortunadamente No Eres Tú, produced by Grammy winner Aureo Baqueiro (Thalía, Paulina Rubio, Sin Bandera, Alejandro Fernández, among others). Her first single had a major support from radio stations in Mexico, being added to National AAA radio and reaching the top spots on the National radio charts. The album quickly reached Gold status in the country. Her lates single "Se Desintegra el Amor" features singer/ songwriter Benny Ibarra.

Paty has developed a massive fan-base through social media with over 400,000 Twitter followers and over 700,000 fans in her Facebook Fan Page. Her videos have a huge online presence the official video of first single "Afortunadamnte No Eres Tú" has more than 7 million views in YouTube while the videos for "Clavo que Saca Otro Clavo" has over 4 million, and "Goma de Mascar" has over 3 million views on the channel.

Paty Cantú has blown away the biggest and most important venues in Mexico, Central/South America and Puerto Rico. She has also shared the stage with huge Latin superstars such as Alejandro Sanz, Alejandro Fernández and Diego Torres. She has also written songs for top Latin artists like Alejandra Guzmán, Dulce María (RBD).

In 2011, Paty Cantú was chosen among the few select artists invited to perform at Shakira's Pop Festival in Mexico presented by Coca Cola. Once again this spring, Paty performed at the Metropolitan Theatre in Mexico City with a sold-out show that included special performances with artists like Dulce María (RBD) and Benny Ibarra. After the success of this show, a second date was announced by popular demand for summer, 2011.
